Sardines aren't known for being sexy. They're overlooked, misunderstood, and usually hidden in the back of the pantry next to canned beans and tomatoes.

Dearly Departed set out to create something bold, ironic, and impossible to ignore.

The concept? Mortality meets premium food. Dark humor wrapped in high quality. Packaging designed to make people laugh, then reach for it because they can tell it's the real deal.

The brand leans hard into the death theme. Dead fish, gothic type, and gravestones are woven throughout the identity. But underneath the dark humor is serious craft: sustainably sourced ingredients and quality design.

The result is a brand that stands out on shelves, wins design awards, and proves that even sardines can have personality when the design is brave enough to be weird.
